Adult litercy program in is one of our major concerns because knowldge is power. Currently 32 students, women age 18 to 45, are enrolled in in this program. Most of these women did not get opportunity to go to school while others who tried dropped in the lower primary classes. They are women who wish to improve their reading and writing skills, communication skills, and life skills so that they may improve their own lives as well as the lives of their children.
Ambassadors of Jesus Christ Ministries currently runs one adult literacy classes from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM three days per week. Classes cannot be held during the day due to the family responsibilities of students and income-generating activities.
